SIGNATURE OFFERINGS
Workshops
At The Mudd House, we offer a handful of specialty workshops that include clay foraging, large-scale throwing, Kurinuki, glazing techniques & more.
Workshops & special events include all materials and instruction.
Join us for an "informal" Happy Hour class. You'll get a quick and dirty demo, we center the clay for you so you get to focus on the fun part- forming, pulling walls and shaping your pieces. You'll work at a wheel alongside others while we coach you through the process. Happy Hour includes one piece to keep. Add'l work $10/piece. You'll select your glaze color and your work will be ready in 4-5 weeks. If you're over 21, you're welcome to BYOB. Ages 16+. $75/person.

HAPPY HOUR
Join us for 4 weeks of fun! Throughout this beginner’s course, you will learn how to create a wheel thrown vessel from start to finish. Weeks 1 & 2 are focused on throwing. Week 3 is dedicated to trimming. Week 4 is focused on glazing. This course is designed for beginner to intermediate potters and those who already do have some experience on the wheel but want to improve upon their skills & want to learn to trim and glaze their work.

Birthday parties, girls night out, group-dates, and more! Our experienced instructors will guide you through the ceramic process, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.
At The Mudd House we can accommodate up to 12 people in our space.
Specialty workshops
Every so often we have the gift of hosting other artists in our space to lead our members and community through their unique specialty. Bringing in artists who have mastered large-scale throwing, glazing technique, kurinuki carving, & more, these workshops aim to inspire our members & students to push their own creative limits.
Corporate Bonding
Bringing a unique experience to YOU!
At The Mudd House we offer a full ceramic experience, and you never have to leave the office! Our instructor will guide your team through hand-building & sculpting techniques. We handle glazing and firing your pieces, and they are ready to pickup 2 weeks from your workshop date.
Private Event Information:
We're so excited you're considering The Mudd House for your event! We love to celebrate birthdays, bachelorettes, team building, corporate events, and more! When you book a private event with us, you are renting out the entire studio space for 3 hours. You're welcome to bring food, drinks and decorations, just give us a heads up so we can plan accordingly.
What to Expect:
In your class, two skilled instructors will lead you through the basics of both handbuilding and wheel throwing. Half of the group will start with handbuilding and the other half will start on the wheel. At the 1.5 hour point we will switch so everyone gets a chance to do both handbuilding and wheel throwing.
Pricing
9-12 People: $1,500
13-15 People: $2,000
16-20 People: $2,700
*a 20% gratuity will be automatically added for private events*
One wheel-thrown piece and one hand-built piece are included per person. Additional pieces can be kept for $10 each. When you're ready to book, please email info@themuddhousestudio.com.
